This function displays or hides the current layer.


When the selected layer is hidden it can not be changed, a warning message is displayed in the work area and the cursor becomes.


To show / hide the layer:

•Select Layers menu > Layer visibility > Show / hide layer

•Or click on the button in the Layer toolbar

•Alternative method: click on the button next to the thumbnail of the layer
