Line tool
The Line tool lets you draw straight lines, polygons or curves using the current brush and the current color.
To draw a line:
•Select line tool in the main toolbar.
•Click on the drawing to start the line or the polygon.
•Click the drawing again to finish the line or add a point to the polygon.
•To delete the last point on the polygon, press the Backspace key or Ctrl + Delete.
To finish a polygon or a curve, you can use several alternative methods:
•Simultaneously click the Ctrl key at the same time that you click the drawing to add the last point and complete the polygon.
•You can also press the Enter key to set the last point at the cursor position and end the polygon.
•Double click to add the last point and complete the polygon.
To adjust the slope of the line to an integer value:
•Adjust the value of the angle offset, the angle of the lines is a multiple of the angle offset.
•Press the Ctrl key as you move the mouse cursor.
To cancel the current construction, press the Escape key.

If this option is checked, the polygons are closed by joining the first point and the last point. |
Hand drawn lines |
Modifies the style of the lines by introducing a slight tremor to imitate a line that would be drawn freehand. |
Angle offset |
Defines the value of the angles of the lines: the angle of the line is measured in degrees with the horizontal and is a multiple of the angle offset. For example if the offset is 10 degrees the angles of the lines will be 10, 20, 30 degrees, ... |
