To change the document settings:

•Select Edit Menu > Settings

•Select category Document

Default Width

The default width of the document in pixels.

Default Height

The default height of the document in pixels.

Paper Type

Default paper type.

Color of paper

Default paper color for colored papers.

Paper Name

The default paper name for image type papers

Show transparent paper

If this option is checked, the transparent paper is marked by a checkerboard, otherwise the background of the document is displayed.

Resolution Unit

Unit used to calculate document dimensions for printing. The density is expressed in pixels per inch or in pixels per centimeters.

Undo/redo limit  (from 8 to 64 operations maxi)

Maximum number of changes in the change history. YoupiPaint handles undo operations with a disk buffer. The larger the number of operations, the greater the buffer size.

Undo/redo memory size

Specifies the size of the memory allocated for the cancellation of commands in megabytes, min 256 MB, max 1024 MB. When the allocated size is reached the application uses the disk cache to perform the undo operations.

Auto document extension

The default option for auto-extending the document. For more information on automatic document extension, see New file.

Drawing margin

In case auto-extension is enabled, indicates the value in pixels of the drawing border.

Background color of the document

Sets the background color of the document. To change the color click on the button and choose the new color in the dialog.
